Cat Head Tower is named for its tower head appearance like an owl's head, it is a common tower type among AC straight-line towers. Two overhead ground wires are erected on this tower, and the conductors are arranged in an isosceles triangle. It occupies a small corridor width, which can effectively save the space of the line corridor. It is relatively common in power transmission lines with voltage levels of 110 kV and above.
